What’s for today’s SMART Breakfast?

A SMART Breakfast 003

1 Granny Green apple diced and cooked for 2 minutes in the microwave.

8 oz. Almond Milk

1 oz. Oatmeal

Cinnamon and powdered sugar to taste

Cup of coffee with teaspoon of chocolate and small amount of Almond milk

 

Enjoy this delicious breakfast!

Are you drinking at least 4 glasses of water a day?

Water in the a.m. & p.m.

Are you drinking enough water?

I love my water cup! It is easy to refill and pop in and out of the refrigerator. When I am home I often have this cup nearby and sip on it throughout the day.

I recommend four 8 oz. glasses of water a day. Remember your 5 servings of fruits and vegetables contain a lot of water too!

Also, herbal teas are another way to add water to your plan.

How can you possibly eat more to weigh less?

It is because of the SMART plan that you can eat more to weigh less.  The S stands for Specific food groups: proteins, vegetables, fruits, starches and fats.  The M stands for measurable. Learn to measure the amounts of food you eat to know exactly how much food to eat. The A is that this is attainable for anyone who is willing to think and sometimes plan their food for the day. The R is that it is reliable once you know how to do this. It is all in the thinking. The T is for timing because if you do not eat and eat and eat and eat and eat then you will be eating either the wrong time or the wrong things. You must eat a lot of food all day and as a result your energy will also be terrific. It does take a bit to learn but once you know how to do this it is a lifetime plan and you can eat just about anything!
